Project 1

Building regional centers for Home Based workers

Realization period: January 2005- March 2006.

World wide project that is realizing in three regions: Latin America, Southeast Asia and Southeast Europe coordinated by HWW-Lids.

In southeast Europe project activities are realizing in four countries: Serbia, (Felisitas-regional center), Romania (AUR-national center), Bulgaria (Kaloyan-national center) and Macedonia (PPC Shtip- national center).

Project aim to identify home based workers, to connect them nationally and internationally through regional meetings, trainings, educational workshops and fairs.

Activities:

1. Regional meetings in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania and Serbia
2. Exchange visit in India-Adithi
3. Workshops
4. Fairs

Project 2

Fair Conditions for Women dressing Europe

Realization period: January –November 2005.

International project financially supported by NOVIB, Netherlands, realized in partnership with Felisitas-Serbia and WAD-Bulgaria.

Project mission is to raise public awareness for the unfair labour conditions in the rapidly growing garment industries in Bulgaria, Macedonia and Serbia to fight the violation of the basic human rights at work.

Activities:

1. Street exhibitions
2. Debates
3. Workshops
4. Publications
5. Participation at the street actions, seminars and workshops organized by Clean Clothes Campaign.
