Permaculture and Peacebuilding Centre PPC - Stip, within the Together to clearer environment project funded by the Regional Environment Protection Centre for Central and Eastern Europe, realized several activities, among which the preparation of a Solid Waste Management Action Plan for Stip Municipality (draft version). The plan was developed by the Coordinative Body.

Basically, during the preparation of the Action Plan the accent was put on the public participation in the decision-making processes regarding the protection of the environment, which actually means implementation of the Second Pillar of the Århus Convention, signed and ratified by R. Macedonia.

The final version of the Action Plan will be submitted to the Council of Stip Municipality by the Urbanism, Communal Services and Ecology Committee, whose president took part in the plan's preparation. The plan will be proposed to the Council for adoption.
